Computer Maintenance Checklist

Is there such a thing here ?
I've been checking the tutorial section but could not find one.

What I need to do is to come up with a list of items to check for a regular checkup for systems that I may only touch once a year.

Any pointers ?

Sure.
Crack open the case and reseat all cards (including RAM), blow out the dust-bunnies, power up to ensure the fans are spinning as they should.
Put the cover back on, install & run CrapCleaner. Then defrag the hard disk(s), reboot and you should be on your way.
