During the day I connect to a network with specific IP, Subnet, Gateway, etc. addresses, while at night I connect to a network which i set Windows to detect the addresses automatically. I have been trying to figure out how I can set up my computer so that I dont have to change all my settings each time i change the network i plug into. i tried 'bridging' but i dont think it works, or i'm not too sure how to do it. i'd like both the networks to be on my local area network connection. I use Windows XP.
any help would be really appreciated. if i'm unclear about anything, please let me know and i'll clarify. Thanks!

I think a little free app called netsetman is just what you need. You can find info on it as well as the download HERE (http://www.itecnix.com/show.php?pg=./software/netsetman/netsetman.php) It will let you setup network "profiles" using the same adapter. Hope this is what you are looking for post back if you have questions or comments.

Well, that program seems really convenient! However, after playing around a bit, I realized that if I only have 2 connections to worry about, I can set them up through the TCP/IP settings. Apparently theres a spot for 'alternate configuration.'
Thanks for your help!
