all of my music is in .wma and i want to put it in to .mp3 so i can get 200 songs on a cd. is there a program that will do this or an easy way.

If you've got WMP 9 or above there is a plug in that you can get for about $9 -$1O here that reputedly does that...http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2001/oct01/10-22rippingpr.mspx
[I always thought WMP converted them anyway????????]
This is if you have XP.

i do have xp and the new WMP, when u use WMP to burn music is puts it in to a CDA . there got to be a option to make it burn them in to a mp3....

i figured it out when u are in the burn tab you select highformat and it puts it in mp3 and u can fit a lot of songs on it.

wma files are actually smaller than mp3 files.
When you burn the disk it should give you the option to make it an audio or a data disk. You can burn tracks from the music playlists in your library to create a data CD that can contain more than eight hours of music.
When you're on WMP click on F1 and put mp3 in the search box for details. :)
