Disk Drive

Hi everyone.:wave:

I have an extenal disk drive that came with my Toshiba Portege laptob. It is a DVD-ROM/CD-RW multifunction drive. Is it a 16X drive?? How can you tell if it is??? Can you please help. This one game I want to buy needs a 16X disk drive.

You can look in your system properties. It may give an indication in the device name/model.
Or you can take that name/model and do a search at the manufacturers site.

It should give you all the info you need on your drive.

You should find specs like:
48X 32X 48X 16X Max CD-RW DVD-ROM Combination Drive :michaelan
or faster or slower.
