Point at title - box appears.

Another trivial question from uripyores;
When one hovers the mouse over a title on the forums here, the box pops up with some of the subject text etc. A while ago it would do this for about 5-6 seconds then disappear again. Lately it's stayed in view until I moved the mouse away but now it's started disappearing again...is this something that we have control over and if so how? :michaelan

It should dissapear as soon as you take your mouse away.

Does it happen on other sites? Have you changed browsers or settings?

Just checked. Yes it is on all sites and I don't remember changing any settings. 6 seconds and then it goes off and I have to move the mouse away and then back for another 6 secs.

I've just cleared all temporary files and some other junk [no virus's and hardly any spy/ad ware] and it's back working properly. It surprised me that it was that simple.

It's just strange that sometimes they stay there as long as your mouse is on it and other times it goes after a few sec's and I can't always read that quick.

Nah, I just thought that was normal. It's always worked that way for me. 6 seconds is about as far as it gets. "intelligent computing" ??:rotflmao: After 50 I'm not sure my attention span is that long!!:rotflmao:

It was like that here for a long time; then it changed to staying on and I got used to it, now its gone back;
I reckon its the mods playing tricks on us.:angry:

Just made a discovery.....it stays in view with Opera until you move the mouse. You have to point just above the title and wait.
