ZipGenius
I've heard of this to be a very good zip-unzip FREE program.It specifies it's use is for Windows Explorer. Will it also work with Firefox which is my default browser. If not, what other zip-unzip program would you recommend for Firefox, preferrably a FREE one.

ZipGenius is a good program, I have it installed and use it occasionally. It's a Windows program and whether you use Internet Explorer or Firefox for your browser makes no difference.

jdublu, your statement was correct. ZipGenius is for use with Windows Explorer, although you should know that Windows Explorer is not a browser, and is different than Internet Explorer, as rockboy was trying to explain. As he did say, however, the browser makes no difference at all, so Firefox will work just fine.
