Netscape Browser 8.0 As Default Question
I've recently installed Netscape Browser 8.0 (really nice) and have set it to be my default browser.
I'm on adsl with a router and when I start up in the morning Internet Explorer automatically opens and displays my home page. Is there a way to stop this please?? I don't want to uninstall IE just stop it starting each time. Thanks

Look on the Start Menu under All Programs for the Startup folder. If a shortcut to Internet Explorer is there, delete it.

No entry. Had a look at jv16 Power Tools and that shows an entry for IE in Starting Programs but don't want to delete it from there. I reall only want to inhibit it temporarily with the option of reinstating it should the need arise in the future. Sometimes I've looked at the Sartup folder and moved an entry to a "parked shortcuts" folder just to stop the initial startup. All I need to do then is move the enrty back again if I need to.
