when i'm in a search. how do i clear or keep titles from poping up automatically?

If I understand you correctly, you need to disable IE's AutoComplete function. You can do this via Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > click on AutoComplete > Clear Forms, then uncheck the Forms box.
