Exclamation desperate need of help: "An exception OE has occured..." i deserve more respect!

hey cybertechhelp,

I can't believe that no one has had any intention into looking at my problem. I joined this forum because I thought I would be included with the truckloads of many other who received help real quickly! I would really appreciate it if you could look more into this problem, as I'm sure truckloads of others in the world would want this issue fixed :

when ever i use like a Gnutella client such as Shareaza or BitLord (sorta like Bittorrent) i keep getting this blue screen (i use win98se btw) saying "An exception OE has occured at 0028:C00B56FC in VxD ---. This was called from 0028:C00B56FC in VxD. It may be possible to continue normally." It's so annoying because once I press "any key" to continue on my desktop, my internet stops working and I have to either restart or wait like an hour for it all to work again! is there any patch or like fix that can prevent this from happening again?

Intel Inside Celeron 466mhz
128MB RAM
Direct X 8.1
Norton Antivirus 2002
approx. 6 yrs old (since 1999)
anything else?

Yours Truly,

Seifer
