How do you id a motherboard that is not installed where do I find the id so that i can get some spec's on installing it I do know that it is an AT motherboard. :wave:

Howdy...
Most Motherboards,depending on age, usually have the markings between the slots where your Cards go (NIC, Video and so on). They will usually be in white lettters but if its an older one they could be black, yes black. :)

Well I don't know the only numbers that I see that might mean anything are these; K6BV3+ REV:A they are the only numbers that are not attached to anything.

Your mother board is a DFI. I cant seem to find that model on their site so maybe check the numbers again.

I found what i was looking for on the site you gave me I went their and went to downloads and found the motherboard manual but I tried to download it but it keeps going to winzip and I can not get it to open winzip tells me that it has no archive how do I get a copy of the manual/
