Question Just a Question

Does anyone in this fine community know of a program that can be used on the Win98 that adds the blinds, or program grouping funcutionality like that of the windows XP...

any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Check Here. Stardock wrote the XP programs. Never tried it myself.

hey...

Hello, that unfortuanally wasnt what i was looking for...i guess i should speicify more..

I am looking for a program that can be used on Windows 98 that adds the ability to group the startbar buttons of the programs, like AIM, Internet expolorer, MSN, ect.

the actuall program is found on Windows XP computers.

If you're referring to the Quick Launch bar, which is usually located just to the right of the Start button, that feature is included in Win98 SE but I don't know about Win98 FE.

If you're referring to "button grouping," that does seem to be unique to XP since XP uses a different approach in controlling the taskbar than does 98.

Check out Button Boogie for information on why applying that feature to 98 is difficult...although the author of that utility says he's working on it.
