On startup I get two error popups. The first is this one:

* setup.ins
Cannot find the file 'setup.ins" (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are current and that all required libraries are available.

The second one is:

! Desktop
Could not load or run 'setup.ins' specified in the win.ini file. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the win.ini file.

I really have no idea how to fix this. Any ideas?

Hey thunderboom,
Real sorry - didn't see your post slip by unanswered. Looks like some program you no longer use still has setup commands in your startup. For convenience sake, go Here (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html) and download the latest HijackThis so someone can review what is trying to load. Download HijackThis to a permanent folder (it is zipped so you will have to unzip it). Run the program, select Do a System Scan and Save Logfile. Save the log to a known location, then cut/paste the entire log here when you post back. If you still have the setup.ins going on perhaps a CTH member can I.D. the issue.
