I used Microsoft word 2000 to create an website from Menu new>web page>choose personal web pages to open in word document & then save as web page. I have no experience in doing so before. I usually use Microsoft front pages to create ones. I submitted the page in many sites likes auto –manual sites. I asked many to view it but nobody confirm me any problem in opening & viewing. Yesterday I got one notice from admin Magic-and-Mayhem auto surfs “I am writing to you to inform you that the url:
http://www.freewebs.com/dmsi/International_agent_wanted.htm

Which you have submitted several times to the site has been banned. On several occations whilst checking the url a prompt box came up asking me to download windows add ons. Considering that I am already up to date on windows and do not want windows 2000 I thought this a bit strange. I checked the url again several times and it did the same thing.

We do not allow prompt download boxes on the site. I have deleted these site but have not given you a warning.”

Also at the same time I notice other sites send me approval notices like Topsurf.us

Anybody can tell me the problem actually in it: http://www.freewebs.com/dmsi/International_agent_wanted.htm (http://www.freewebs.com/dmsi/International_agent_wanted.htm)

Thanks regards

You are using propriety software to produce your page.

I would suggest that you use a (x)html standards editor to produce your site.
Dreamweaver is the best, but expensive.
NetObjects is cheaper.
There are many others available.

May I suggest the best one Ive used Actual Drawing FREE Download! www.pysoft.com (http://www.pysoft.com/) The only problem with Actual Drawing is that Ive never been able to see any mode for seeing the javascript, But on the other hand there's Symantec's Visual Page & Dream Weaver.

You're not kidding the whole macromedia package, including Dream Weaver costs about $24,000 U.S. & I thought Bill Gates was bad.

Actual Drawing FREE Download! www.pysoft.com (http://www.pysoft.com/) Make sure you check the price to see if it's worth it if you want to KEEP it.

As for your web page, MSWord puts a lot of useless code into an HTML document. I'd start from scratch and redo the page.

Try NVU (http://www.nvu.com/) if you want to try something free and that works kind of like Word.

If you decide that you want to learn HTML between us and http://www.w3schools.com/ you'll be writing webpages nicely before you know it :)

Thanks everybody for information & advices. The admin banned me reply again that he will recheck through other fellow site admins & already return all credits to the account. Otherwise about half a dozen hit exchange site admins sent the letter of approvals. Actually what happen I suppose the WORD makes every support files when I saved the word file as a web page and though it is disabled features not supported by IE was checked in Tool > option >general > web option but it may appears that for viewing the sites properly it may promt for some add ons & for other types of browsers.

Anyway , it is not mandatory for me use word documents as a web page & I decided to change in Microsoft front page , may be more acceptable.

Thanks again

Hey don't we always get a good laugh at Bill Gates Expense, Wait hold on that didn't cost anything. Not even 799.99 Canadian, the cost of a new Office Pro.

Oh yeah I forgot to say you're welcome! as one of the many people!
