Whenever I boot my computer with the monitor on, I get a Windows protection error. When I boot up with my monitor off, It works fine.

Try running a Google search for the error message. You'll usually come up with a fix from the Microsoft knowledge base. If not, try up-dating the driver for your monitor. Or post your error message back here and we'll try to figure out why your getting it.

Yes it sounds like a monitor driver issue and when its turned off,the problem doesnt occur.....
What is confusing is,if it IS a driver issue which we are assuming,why does it work fine if the monitor is engaged after bootup??
