hi,win98s.e, stupid question from a stupid person,how do i copy&paste a
picture from my documents/my pictures ,tried select all then go to paste
but no joy.if someone could advise please,i would appreciate it very much.

I'm not sure if you can copy/paste a .jpg file from one folder to another. But you can drag and drop them. Open Windows explorer>open the folder with your pictures in it>find the destination folder in the left hand pane>now highlight the pictures to be moved>hold down the right mouse button and drag the group of pictures to the destination folder>let go of the right mouse button and select "move here" from the menu that appears. Walla-your pictures are moved from one folder to another. Hope this helps. :)

Howdy:

If just a single picture, then right click on it and select "copy"..

Then, right click on the folder you want it to go to and select "paste"..

If you have a large amount of pics, you may not be able to do them all at once as the "copy/paste" method places them in the clipborad first and then to the folder you want.. Clipboard may not be able to handle that many!!
