Ok, so I bought a new comp that has MCE and sees my NTSC tapes fine when I hook up my vcr to it. My vcr also plays PAL tapes, but the comp can't make much out of these tapes. We have a converter that makes the signal viewable for our NTSC tv, but for some reason, the computer doesn't respond to the converter. Do I need a special card for that? Or maybe a special program? Is there anyway to get my comp to recognize the PAL format when uploading vhs tapes?
