Hi I have a Windows Millenium Edition and it only has minimal problems. Earlier today my mom unplugged the computer while it was still on. I turned it back on and the scan disk went on to scan it. After that the internet started acting up so i tryed seeing if all the plugs were in correctly behind the computer. Then I restarted it and it looked like it was in safe mode. The screen is really blotchy looking like the color is all faded and the graphics look bad. Their is no sound at all. I tried checking in control panel to see if the device was working and it said that it could'nt figure out the problem. I tried multiple times to put it on safe mode and I even shut it down properly. I dont know what's wrong with it. It was working fine before and now its really messed up. If someone out their knows anything about this problem plz give me some advice so i Can fix it.
Thanks

I found out it is my drivers that are having problems. I put my comp on safe mode and found out all three of my drivers are having problems and it put it in MOS-DOS compatibility mode. I read some things on the net telling me to open up autoexec.bat somehting like that but i cant find that on my comp. I only have misconfig. How do i change my drivers names and place rem in front of them? Is their any way I can do that without going through autoexec.bat and can i go through misconfig? Im so confused sorry im new at this stuff

When you say drivers are the problem, are you referring to video drivers?
