If someone could help, I have a computer with winME and my lil brother have downloaded movies, games, etc and its making the extremely slow. And most of the time it will freeze. I would like to delete everything and start over fresh. What do I have to do? I have the restoration kit.

Is the restore kit a Restore CD that came with the computer.

Yes, but everytime i tried to used that cd when it ask for it, the door opens but will not close. If I push the button to close it, it comes right back out.

I would check for viruses or spyware.
Also could be a faulty drive.

I did check it for a viruse but it didn't find one. But he has some type of spyware program on there but I don't know what it is. If I unplug that drive, could I still use the other one?
