Hi Herb,
It's best to post your own thread (topic) on you problem. I moved
your question out of seal's Big Prob, need help! thread.
Regarding your problem, just take the suffix .txt out of the
file name and your BMP will be seen as an image instead of a
document.

The TXT wasn't the issue, just a careless mishap on userside.
I'm a little miffed about 3rd party cookies (3 of them) used in problem displays in a forum.
Simply bad style IMHO

Ahhhh I geddit now.
Herb, the image was hosted at tripod.com which I assume block remote linking to image files, saving as .txt allows it be remote linked.
So the cookies are coming from tripod?

Hiya smurfy, long time no see:D
I understand the TXT thing, it's ok:)
Yep, that have been 3 cookies persistantly asking access from the source url, now on my blocked server list (Opera6.04);)
I guess seal didn't even know about them. It's a shame that all these free space sites only survive with ads and spy stuff nowadays:(
