Angry Online Games
I would like to know IF there is a tech place that knows how to help solve problems for online gaming. I have had no problems playing Everquest. I have jacked up everything on my computer. Put in the latest drivers on and on and on and still my biggest problem is Microsoft's Zone.
Is there such a thing as having souped up your computer so much that you literally cannot play an old game?
All my downloads are just fine. I begin play and the Zone disconnects me saying there is a network error. Blah, blah blah.

If you could give us the exact error it may help.

Also what Version of Internet Explorer are you running?

Sorry for being so frustrated.
I've got IE6 and I'm trying to play Asheron's Call DM on the MSN Zone. I have directX 8.1 and everything has loaded just fine but.....the message I get is: You have been disconnected from the Zone server...Network error.
Not only does this disc me from the game but it affects my browser Yahoo...even tho my internet connection is still running ok I must restart my computer to even open my e-mail box! Is this weird or what?

Well, i played AC, and when trying to find help, i found ALOT of zonehelp, like errors and stuff it gives ya. There are chatrooms too i beleave...
anyway ill find a link fer the chatroom, sec

They have a lineup fer gettin help, so i would go through the help options before doing it. =)

Unhappy online games
Thanks for the link...I have gone there but no one seems to be able to help me. I keep getting kicked out with the message: "could no create enumerate DirectDraw main object" This is a fatal error of some kind and even my browser starts giving me "illegal action" messages and closes me down too! I have explorer6 and DX8.1..I have turned my accelerator down I have reloaded AC..I don't know what else to do. I have not had this problem with any other game. It seems to be a Zone problem. Has anyone got any ideas????? PLZ

Well... Disinstall everything to do with MSN Zone... gay thing...
and maybe set your browser secureity to super low or something
