Hi
Ihave just gone on to broadband and have a problem with the computer jumping off line after a short while.
When I checked the performance on start-up it is 57%, However after a short while (after clicking off) it is 40%. I ran PC Pitstop and the results were
1. Your computer has 3354 unnecessary (junk) files that take up 105906KB of space.

2. Your computer is not optimized for dial_up connection.

3. your computer has 556 registry errors.

4. your computer has 2 registry keys thst can be adjusted to give your system a performance boost.

I have tried running Defrag. but it will only go to1% before going back to 0%
Iwould be grateful for any help forthcoming.

Go here and download this free registry cleaner:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=460&file=12&evp=918d178ce8f53361a121db92cc3c7d2e

After installing, accept the license aggreement and then a window will open displaying software installed on your system. A the top ill be a menu bar, click on Tools > click on Registry Cleanup in the drop down box > choose automatic registry cleaner. The scan will then start. When done, put a check mark in the entries displayed and click the Remove Selected button at the bottom.
