i can't open my computer

i can't open my computer. after i turn it on a message like this prompts:
"detecting floppy disk drive...
please insert system disk and press enter"

please help a.s.a.p.

take out the floppy disk.
hehe we all look past some obvious things in frustration.

there is no floppy disk in drive a. i forgot to include the message: "bios checksum error".
it appears b4 the message:
"detecting floppy disk drive a:
insert system disk and press enter..."

maybe you could try changing the settings in the bios to load the hdd first. or maybe an update is in order.

i can't enter the bios settings because the message prompts before the screen with the option to configure the setting appears, so i can't really do anything at all. i'm starting to suspect it is some kind of a hardware problem.
