iTunes and Firefox changed languages

Hi, I just got a new computer (Powerbook G4) a few days ago, after using PCs all of my life. I love it, but I turned on my computer this morning, and both Firefox and iTunes suddenly display in...some language. I have no idea how this happened, because I didn't change any settings knowingly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but it still does the same thing; as for iTunes, I barely know anything about it, so I don't know if uninstalling it will mess with my music or not, and therefore haven't tried. I'm pretty good with PCs but this is my first Mac, so maybe there's something I don't know about...but I'm at a complete loss, really. I've checked every language setting that I can find, and they're all set to English.

Here's a link to a screenshot of Firefox:

As you can see, the L.A. Times is in English, while everything else...isn't.

...and iTunes:

I will be so grateful for any help I can get! Thank you.

EDIT
Whew, got it back to normal!
For future reference, if anyone else has this problem, uninstall the font Lucida Grande. For some reason, it changes everything into Hebrew.
I found one other person with my problem here, which is also where this solution came from: http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/.../t-122664.html

Actually, it's due to a font conflict not Lucida Grande specifically. Lucida Grande is the default font on all new Macs. You must have installed another font which conflicts with it.

In any event, glad you got it back to normal.

Hmm, weird. I wish I knew which font is the culprit.
Thanks
