Windows Media Player locks me up!

Until just recently, I haven't had any problem opening & playing WMP (.wmf) files, but now ANY WMP file totally locks my computer up, forcing a manual restart.

I tried adjusting my graphic acceleration down a notch, but same result. :upset: Using WMP version 9

I would appreciate any help out there! Thanks in advance
