Please explain

What does one have to do to be able to add their avitar or any avitar. I understand that this forum requires 30 posts, but are responses considered posts? Also it appears that ny posts are not being counted properly as there is no indication of my posts under my name.

I am a frequenter of other forums to which I am a senior member and which use similar forum software, but I have not had these problems. Help:grit:

Mentioned a problem with post counts, perhaps this was not true, I have not been keeping count, and perhaps new threads as well as replys do get counted??:confused:

Looks like you currently have 11 posts, not sure why you don't see that but it should also tell you that in your profile. Replies are counted in that :)

Thanks Steven for your response. I noticed the posts being shown shortly after my post. I am not able to access an avitar though, even the "standard ones", if there are any. I know that 30 posts are necessary for a personal Avitar. Are there none that can be used in the interim by the "new user"?;)

Not currently I am afraid. This is because of a) I have not been able to find any free avatars which I consider to be any good or suitable for this forum b) because currently I don't have the time to make some myself due to an intense workload having just started a new job.

Thanks MishY for the info.

I just thought there may be a problem with the software.

I enjoy this forum and participate in another forum using similar software as I have mentioned before. In that forum there are some temporary avitars that one may use in the interim untill a personal avitar may be uploaded.(Senior Member). Which I am at the other forum.

Just have to meet the post requirements here, then there should be no problem. Don't know if the other Forum Mods would be willing to share but it might be worth looking into- could save a lot of work.:D

Hey Mishy i could make a simple avatar if you want, something with a CTH look and the words "GUEST". Just so you could use that for those who haven't reached the required number of posts. Just beware, i'm no graphics expert, and i can't draw for peanuts!
