I am having trouble installing a D-Link DWL-G520 wireless network adapter on a Win 98 SE machine with only a clean install operating system. I get the error message:
The ATHCFG10.DLL file is linked to missing export CRYPT32.DLL:CertGetNameStringA
and the device doesn't work.
I corresponded with Tech Support at D-Link and they directed me to an answer on this site about using a Win2000 library IPHLPAPI.DLL and replacing the file with the same name in the Windows\System folder, unfortuinately it didn't work. I even tried the same procedure with the CRYPT32.DLL file and it still didn't work.
The DWL-G520 adapter worked great until we wiped the computer, reformatted the hard drive and did a clean install of Win 98 SE. Unfortunately the CPU is only 300 MHZ with 64 MB RAM.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
