How to create a mouse cursor/pointer

Hi, does anyone know how to do this. have tried finding out how to on the internet but without much luck.

I wanted to make my own pointer with a picture, graphic of my choice like the ones you can download of peoples off the internet (if that all makes sence)

There is lots of software available to create custom cursors. Some of it is shareware but there is some freeware out there. Look for "icon editor" and read the description to see if it also will make custom cursors (.cur or .ani files). Should be a couple on this page you could try...
