CD-R-RW drive not readythe

Trying to Burn a cd but when I put the a new cd in, it say not enought space. I tried going through my computer and click on the drive which a cd that works in the cd rom and it is says it is not ready. It also show the drive is working properly. Don't know what else to do. Any help.

Have you tried running a disc cleaner ?......sometimes this will fix this problem

I have cleaned and reinstalled, but still not ready the drive.

Hi Lbow

Sometimes one has to copy the CD to the C:\ drive before one can burn it, sometimes disc to disc just won't work. Try this way and see if you can burn from the C:\ drive.
