Windows ME won't boot past splash screen

Hi, everybody. I received a Windows ME based computer, and I ran AdAware and Spybot on it, and then it shut itself down. Now, it doesn't want to boot up, past the WinME splash screen. *Once* I got it to boot in safe mode, and I attempted a system restore, which seemed to go ok, but after it's restart, I'm back in the same bind. I can't get to a command prompt to try and restore the registry. I do not have a restore disk for this computer, and it doesn't have a floppy drive, so I can't just boot off a floppy. I can get ahold of a floppy disk drive and put it in, I'm just trying to see if I have any other options.
