Keyboard or ME?

We are having trouble typing words into the computer. If you start typing, it logs a couple of letters and then swings to the far left so that your next couple of letters goes to the left of the originals. It keeps doing this and adding a couple of letters to the beginning of the string instead of the end.

Is there something that needs to be reset on ME? Or might this be a call for a new keyboard? And how can we tell without buying a new keyboard and testing it out?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for your response Tweaker. The keyboard is a regular Microsoft one that plugs into the back of my tower.

I hope you can point us in the direction of a fix for this. Thanks.

I would try reinstalling the keyboard do you have any software that came with your system for the keyboard?

I would also try another keyboard if it does the same thing we are looking at a totally different animal.
