I am in charge of the computers for yearbook at my school. There are six computers each connected to the school network. What I want is to be able to share one of the computers hard drives with the others but I have no idea how. Can somebody help?

Welcome to CTH
I am moving this to Networking where you will get the help you need. As to do this it has to be done thru the network giving each user access to the Computer that is designated as the "SERVER"

Welcome to CTH...
What version of windows is your school running? Once you post that info back I'll point to some steps on the Microsoft website. That should get you started. If you run into any problems we'll be here to help.
BTW - This is something your school is OK with, right? You will need to have an account with admin priviledges in order to share the drive.

Yes they left be FULLY in charge, I use the administrator account and I know all the passwords. I was the first to even turn these computers on. Anyway, the school uses MacOS 9, MacOS X, and Windows XP Professional. These are new PC's with Windows XP Professional.

Take a look as this info from MS and let me know if you have any questions. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=87c0a6db-aef8-4bef-925e-7ac9be791028&DisplayLang=en
I recommend you stick with the simple file sharing, unless the school requires stricter security. Also, I'd switch the workgroup name from the default.
