2 hard drives
I have acquired a Gateway 200 that has 2 hard drives on it. It had Win NT 4 on it, but I fdisked and deleted the partitions, etc... This may be a dumb question, but I've never done this with 2 hard drives before. I created the primary dos partition on the 1st hard drive. Now I am doing the 2nd hard drive. What do I do? Do I partition it as the extended dos partition? Also, when I created the primary dos partition and set it to active, it said file system unknown? What have I done wrong? Thanks for any and all replies.
Kelly P.S. I plan to install Win 98SE on the computer. What do I put on the 2nd harddrive? You guys know I am still learning this, so stop laughing!!!:o
