Computer Freezing

I need some insight from you more experienced users. My operating system is Windows ME. This question is in regards to my computer freezing while I'm on the internet. I don't understand why this happening and cannot figure out what to do. Since it freezes (making the keyboard and mouse inoperable), the only way to rectify the problem is to turn off my surger then turn it back on again.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Try downloading and running Hijack This (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/download/file/hijack-this) program and post the results in our safety forum (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25) and someone will take a look to see if there are any issues that could be causing this.
