I have an iMac G3 running OS 9.2.2. When I installed the print drivers from the CD for my new HP PSC 1510 printer it deleted or disabled several applications so I uninstalled it and restored my applications. Now when I select LaserWriter 8 in the chooser nothing shows up in the "Select a PostScript Printer" window so I cannot print. The printer description folder is still in the Exstensions folder in the System folder but they don't show up in the chooser. Please help!!!!
Thanks, David

I have a folder called PPD's in HD/Library/Printing/PPD's and a folder called Parsed PPD Folder in HD/System Folder/Preferences/Printing Prefs/Parsed PPD Folder. Does one of these need to be moved or copied?
Thanks, David

The Library folder is for OSX... if you're running OS9 you don't even need that folder.

For OS9 you should have HD/System Folder/Extension/Printer Descriptions with the PPDs in it. If not, you may need to reinstall just the OS9 drivers for the printer.
