Closing an open port

I did a port scan and got a message informing me that port 8080 is open. How do I close this port.

You'll need to block ports with a third party program like ZoneAlarm Pro.

Thanks for replying Spider. I currently use zone alarm. And I'm still being told that port 8080 is open. The scan also said that port 8080 was stealthed. So do I need to close it or leave as is.

Are you confusing ZoneAlarm with ZoneAlarm Pro? ZoneAlarm is free and
has limited functions (no ability to block ports) ZoneAlarm Pro has many
more options.
