Comcast is high speed cable internet yes? All you "should" need to do for basic connectivity is to plug cat5 from your cable modem to the WAN port on the router. Then enter the routers config area by using a web browser. In the address windows type 192.168.1.1 the default for login is to leave the login area blank and use admin as a password. Once you are in the router look for the "setup" tab under setup you should see connection type, pick "obtian ip auto" or "obtain address from dhcp" the wording is different depending on firmware ver. Click on save and that should do it. If you have to clone your computers MAC address there is a tab for "MAC address clone" To find out what your computers MAC address is get a command line box open and type ipconfig /all and look for the MAC address rite it down. Then when you go into the routers config area you will have it. Depending on your isp you may not need to clone the MAC address. Try it with just the defualt setup first and work from there. You don't need to use, enable, or worry about ICS since you have the router. Lets get you some basic connection then deal with the wireless later since you say you won't be using it much.
