locked up and locked out can't get it to do much of anything.
I have a Compaq 1255 notebook, AMD 333, 32 megs expanded to 160. I have suffered lock-ups freezes,os failures, all possible anomalies. currently, I get to a menu that would allow me to go to safe mode, or command prompt. When I choose any item, it goes to the clouds, and stops. I can get to dos, but everything I try comes up bad command or file name. I need to point out that I am on the road alot and, don't always have time to get this fixed. I am headed for Denver this week, then Seattle, then Sonoma, Ca. I follow the NHRA drag racing, and will offer up passes ect. to any that help.
