Angry remote destop help please.

hi, i heard i can remote destop my computer from my job, it about 10, 15 miles away, i have same company internet and same windows, same computer, i heard that i have to open my router port, please help me with this, for god sake please, thanks suleman

You need to forward port 3389 on your router for Remote Desktop

What router do you have? Each router has a slightly different procedure. There's a site dedicated to just setting up port forwarding for the different routers. (http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm)

Look up you router there for instructions and if you have problems we're here to help.

cmd /k ipconfig/all [use to start ipconfig from 'Run']
cmd /k ping <some website, like google or yahoo> [use to ping 'www.google.com' from 'Run']
