Hi
I have a problem with my computer jumping off line after about ten minutes.
When I looked in the Performance box of the System Properties it had
Memory - 127.00 Ram (128)?
Disk Compression - Not installed
System Resourses - 20% free
File System - 32 bit
Virtual Memory - 32 bit
System configured for optimal performance

The hard disk is 6.75GB free
Any advice greatly appreciated
Thanks

Could be a lot of things.Have you run spyware and virus scans? If that is clean, I would suspect that you need more RAM. You might want to shut down any running applications that are not necessary, and start them as you need them.

Hi Will, as minorgeek suggested try running spyware scans and you might want to try running Hijack This program to see if there are any issues. You can post the results of your scan in our safety forum and one of our experts will have a look to see if there are any issues that might be causing this.

Also, Go to dial up networking-right click your connection-choose properties-dialing-make sure you uncheck the box "enable idle disconnect".
