Article here (http://news.com.com/Intel+answers+AMD+in+court/2100-7341_3-5845745.html).
Summary:
Intel recently answered AMD in court regarding AMD's claim that Intel has a monopoly and threatens companies that use (or are thinking of using) AMD processors. Intel, of course, denies the charges, but I found this interesting:
Perhaps the biggest omission in the answer was that Intel did not directly refute AMD's allegations that got the most attention when the complaint was filed--that some PC executives said Intel "had a gun to (their) head" and that Intel threatened to pound them into "guacamole." Instead, Intel said it couldn't determine the factual basis of those allegations at the time and denied them on that basis.
I use an Intel processor, but I will probably build a new computer soon and I am still thinking about which processor I should use. This article is very interesting, and is making me think about an AMD processor.
Any other opinions?
