WASHINGTON - Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist died Saturday evening at his home in suburban Virginia, said Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg.

He should have resigned a while back anyway. Now a rush will be on for a replacement. Sad anyway.
Oh no!! Now the balance of conservative and liberal may teeter.
Naw, I doubt the repubs will allow, heaven forbid, a dem in.;)
I think time limits should be set on the Supreme Court also. I really don't want major decisions made by 100 year old men and women.:dizzy:

The Supreme Court does have term limits. Rehnquist is just one of the few who completed his term.
