It seems that Yahoo! have removed their Yahoo! Messenger 6.0, 5.6 and 5.5 downloads from their servers as they automatically point them to the new Yahoo! Messenger 7 download.

There's a blog which posted the installer for Yahoo! Messenger 6.0. If you'll trust that the installer shared there is a-OK, here's the site...

Here's another site where you can download old versions of Yahoo! Messenger. Unfortunately, Yahoo! Messenger 6 is not one of them.
