Help with wirless network.

I installed a Belkin wireless card in my 98SE computer and cannot get the internet to work. The wireless card is obtaining an ip address from the wireless router, but no internet or network. I have a laptop which works on the wireless network just fine. The laptop is running XP. Please help!!!

When you go to "view available wireless networks" what if anything do you see? Do you use WEP or WPA at all? Do you have a firewall running that could be blocking traffic?
