Thanks so much to ALL who hung in and kept posting. I'm still not completely sure how I did it (even got stuck in DOS mode once and couldn't get out.....after deleting all partitions) :p
Anyway, I was FINALLY able to reformat entire disk (all 19GB!!) and now have all of it available. It looks sooooooo good to go to Windows Explorer, right-click on properties, and see just that little bitty slit as used space, with almost all of it free!! Haven't seen that for some time.
I really appreciate all the posts and help. I ABSOLUTELY couldn't have done this without all of you who helped. Dodge, if I'm ever in Kentucky (or wherever you're at), I owe you a real nice, expensive dinner!! :)
Now, one new thing on the modem....I'll make it a new post.
