Setting up A router with home phones

Hello,

Recently my wife and I purchased a Voonage phone account. Our computer is upstairs. We have a phone downstairs and upstairs. How do I configure the router, where I can use the downstairs phone, w/o running a line from the computer to the downstairs phone?

Thanks for your time,

Kevin

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question correctly, but here goes.

See this page from vonage on how to use your existing phone wiring to have multiple phones connected using vonage.

If I misunderstood what you are trying to accomplish, post back and we can continue from there.
