Bob Denver, TV's Gilligan, dead at 70

Bob Denver, who starred as the loveably nutty castaway Gilligan on the hit TV comedy "Gilligan's Island," has died, his agent confirmed. He was 70.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I remember him appearing as Maynard on the "Dobie Gillis" reruns when i was a kid.

Even us Brits ( older ones ) knew him. What better accolade can you have but to die with people knowing your talent?
