Talking animated gif"s

Hi all,

I have been trying to find an easily understood program to resize some animated gif's so that they could be used for avitars, most of the animated gif's that I have are 128X128 and I would like to resize them to 40X40. Tried several programs which would edit various aspects of gif files, but none had a simple resizing function.

I received several suggestions on another tech forum and the best program that was suitable was not a puter resident program, but it was very easy to use (even for me).

Does any one know of a cheap or free program that will allow simple resizing of animated gif's? I really do not at this point want to create, just resize.

Thanks for any suggestions:thumb:

Thanks for the link Dave.

I used the internet proggie and resized a gif that I want to use as my avitar. It is an animated version of the one I have used, at least it is a dove of peace. Will try it and see how it looks.

Thanks for the link to the proggie, may just consider one if and when I try to make some animated gif files.

Don't know for sure Dave.

I did down load a freebie that looks promising but for the time being I will be using the free on line editing program.
