I am wondering if anyone can help me with the making of a message board. I have a site on geocities, and would like to add a message board, where one could write and leave messages and feedback for other messages. Any help is greatly appreicated.

You don't need to make a board.
If you had your own hosting then I would recommend phpBB as a free board or Snitz if you like ASP.
As you are using geocities I would recommend that you have a hosted board
