Trouble with hardware drivers (FC4)
I installed linux tonight finally and was wondering about some issues i am having. I haven't had much trouble finding linux drivers for my hardware, but i can't get it to run. Example is the linux ATI driver i am trying to install for my 9600xt, i go to the driver download page, and click the download link and it takes me to a page that looks like just a bunch of html, like there was some sort of error. Also, when i insert my DFI motherboard drivers disc and navagate through it, i find the folder witht he linux drivers, and double click it and tell it to run, but nothing happens. Any help?
Thanks. Here is a list of my hardware that requires some sort of driver - ATI radeon 9600xt DFI lanparty ut 250gb i have a belkin wireless G wifi card, but for some reason it seems to be operating fine without installing a driver. You need to be logged in as root to install software or drivers. What distro of Linux are you using?

Here a tutorial on how to use yum for software installations in Fedora core 4.
