Hi I have a peoblem wuth this computer. I installed the 3 dram chips and took three harddrives completely partion and formated from another working system and added them to the tx97-x one, the jumpers are set correctly. Now when I bootup yje system it goes to the windows startup screen makes the line go across the bottom then blinks in the corner, after a few moments it decides the reboot all over again. It does go into safe mode just fine but not regular mode like it should. Any help or ideas?

Welcom to CTH

I have split and made your own thread. You problem is different and tagging on to a 3 year old thread may cause no replies or it will get lost.

We need some info. Are you saying you have the same motherboard as the previous poster? Asus TX97XV ?

What kind of memory did you install?

Three hard drives moved over have a CDROM so you would have maybe the following:

IDE 1 Hard drive C: MASTER
IDE 1 Hard Drive D: Slave

IDE 2 Hard drive E: Master
IDE 2 CDROM Slave

Or a variation of the above???
